The New Elegance Underwater: Introducing Breitling's Redefined Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic Range

Published: 11 Jun 2025
Breitling pushes boundaries in dive watch designs, unveiling its revitalised Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic collection for summer 2025.

Breitling, a notable player in the luxury watch industry, amps up its dive watch series with an enhanced version of the Superocean Heritage collection. The brand reinterprets its classic lines from the 1950s, achieving a perfect blend of contemporary design and vintage charm. This reinvigorated line boasts the star-child, the Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic, which combines a new-age, high-performance movement with chic aesthetics.

For this newest release, Breitling presents the timepiece in an array of colour and sizing options, including 44mm, 42mm, and 40mm. The case of the Superocean Heritage B31 has been refined to showcase a more distinctive look, with the most notable change being the case side profile. New additions include a gentle, convex curvature to the case sides and a dome-shaped screw-down crown for a softer, more sophisticated look.

Wearability has been kept at the forefront, with each watch’s diameter corresponding to different lug-to-lug lengths and case thicknesses for optimal comfort. Additionally, the brand offers an 18-karat red gold two-tone bezel and crown treatment for the new series, a nod to those preferring a touch of opulence.

This strategic refresh might be just what Breitling needs to forge a stronger connection with enthusiasts who appreciate a mix of vintage allure and modern sensibility in their timepieces. After all, every wrist deserves a piece of underwater elegance.
