Heritage watches and jewelry retailer, The 1916 Company broadens its horizons with a grand new showroom in Pennsylvania.

In an impressive display of its passion for horology, The 1916 Company, a recognized global destination for coveted watches and fine jewelry, has inaugurated its eye-catching showroom in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. This comes as part of a significant expansion under the unifying brand banner of The 1916 Company, within an exquisite 7,500 square feet space, nearly twice the size it was previously.

Set just a stone’s throw away from where it stood formerly as Govberg Jewelers, this sophisticated location speaks volumes about the brand’s illustrious past and their forward-thinking vision. The showroom, meticulously designed by Eric Lewis of Baltimore’s E/Line Architecture, brings together the ethereal charm of luxury and the inviting warmth of a community hub. The result? An immersive retail environment for watch enthusiasts – both seasoned collectors and new aficionados – and an arena of unique jewelry pieces.

This mission to provide unique experiences continues throughout the showroom, seamlessly creating memories for clients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This focus on detail extends from the grand façade and expertly crafted stonework outside to the carefully planned indoor design. A modern blend of materials comes together beautifully – stone, wood, marble, mosaic – portraying tasteful luxury with an inviting charm.

The luxury experience is further amplified by the inclusion of an elegant Rolex corner complete with a chic VIP lounge. Moreover, the showroom features additional spaces for premium brands such as Tudor, Breitling, IWC as well as Chopard, H. Moser & Cie., and Mikimoto, among others. A select space entitled ‘Horology Lounge’ shines a spotlight on independent watchmaker De Bethune. In addition to these, the 1916 Company also offers a curated selection of pre-owned Rolex watches that are certified and backed by Rolex’s exclusive program, adding a new dynamic for local timepiece enthusiasts.

To sum up, the opening of The 1916 Company’s new showroom is indeed an aspirational leap for the brand ensuring a grand retail destination, evoking an ethos of precision, excellence, and timeless appeal.
