Laurent Ferrier unveils the elegant Sport Auto 79, now in 18k red gold, continuing the brand's legacy of luxury and passion for motorsport.

Laurent Ferrier, known for its meticulous craft in producing elegant sport watches, debuts the Sport Auto 79, now in luxurious 18k red gold. The Sport Auto was a landmark in the realm of classic, integrated bracelet watches, perfected with a time-and-date movement, a feather-light titanium case, and refined proportions.

Carrying forward its legacy of exquisiteness, the new Sport Auto 79 in 18k red gold embodies more than just luxury. It also carries the heartwarming narrative of the brand’s roots, birthed from a longstanding friendship born on a race track and infused with boundless passion for motorsport. The brand’s very existence celebrates a daring adventure embarked upon by François Servanin and Laurent Ferrier, two visionaries who defied odds at the Le Mans racetrack to win a commendable third place.

Reflecting Laurent Ferrier’s signature understated elegance, the Sport Auto 79 features an integrated bracelet and an oh-so-comfortable 41.5mm diameter and 12.7mm thickness. Its unique personality is further enhanced by a signature crown, rounded curves, and sinuous lines, all housed within a water-resistant case.

The rose-silver hued dial adds an extra touch of elegance finished with an opalescent texture. Completing the classic look are lume-filled solid red gold markers, assegai-shaped hands, the snailed small seconds, a centre crosshair, and the sloped date window at 3 o’clock.
