Bell & Ross Pushes the Envelope of Luminescence with the Latest Addition to Its Lum Series: the BR-03 Diver Lum Outline

Specialising in high-performance pilot and diver watches with graphic appeal, Bell & Ross expands its horology portfolio with the release of a novel watch model, the BR-03 Diver Lum Outline. A product of the brand’s dedication towards inventive applications of luminescence, this new timepiece succeeds a line of impressive Lum series creations, from the BR 03-92 Horolum and Nightlum, to the innovative BR 03-92 Full Lum and BR-X5 Green Lum. The BR-03 Diver Lum Outline emerges as a exemplary diving tool, tailored for superior legibility under challenging light conditions, be it underwater or amidst darkness. The signature ‘Circle in a Square’ aesthetic of Bell & Ross is well translated in this state-of-the-art ceramic model with a durable 300m water resistance adhering to the ISO 6425 standards. Crafted with meticulous precision, the model’s design integrates updated typography, enlarged indices, redesigned hands, and more comfortable straps. The striking black ceramic case, fabricated with exposed screws at the corners, together with the unidirectional black ceramic bezel, optimised with minute markings coated with green Super-LumiNova, further enhances the dial’s clarity. The potency of luminescence in this watch lies in its use to underline key elements on the dial. The matte black varnished dial has been decorated with circular and bathtub-shaped hour markers, as well as skeletonised arrow hands with green luminescent profiles. Green numerals on a black date aperture background and a green minutes track harmonise with the dial’s black and green theme. Powering this magnificent watch is the BR-CAL.302-1 automatic based on a Sellita SW300-1 which boasts 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph and an expanded power reserve of 54 hours. Adding to the versatility, the watch arrives with two straps; a black rubber and an ultra-resistant synthetic fabric strap.
