Horological Enthusiasts Revel in an Evening of Wrist Check and Exclusive Models at the Hodinkee Happy Hour

The atmosphere at One Vanderbilt recently held a different charm. The location, usually renowned for its architectural splendor, turned into a paradise for luxury watch enthusiasts. For the first time, it played host to the Hodinkee Happy Hour, a celebration of timepieces and captivating conversations. On arrival, guests were greeted by Deputy Editor Tim Jeffreys and the Hodinkee Team at the Watches of Switzerland One Vanderbilt Showroom. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a quick Wrist Check, snippets of which now adorn Hodinkee’s Instagram handle.

As light-hearted conversations enveloped the venue, renowned watch brands found mention. A peek from top to bottom revealed an Omega Speedmaster 50th Anniversary model and Tudor Black Bay 58 Nike employee edition with an exclusively custom band. The Hodinkee Creative Director, too, added charm to this gathering of watch aficionados.

It appeared as if the best of horology had converged under one roof - an A Lange & Söhne Lange 1 in 950 platinum, a Rolex Presidential Day-Date, and exquisite models from luxury brands like Breitling, Rolex, and Mido. As the evening drew to a close, the event’s convivial spirit and appreciation for timepieces remained captured in the attendees’ minds.
