Strengthening Bonds Across Europe: Horology Club Europe, Le Carage, and Le Club Join Forces

Born out of Asia’s horological hub, Hong Kong, The Horology Club (THC) is a rapidly growing watch enthusiast and collector club that has been spreading its wings across the globe. In its quest for international recognition, THC created an establishment in Europe, spearheaded by Frank Smits and Stan Duin. The primary objective of THC Europe was to bring together, educate, and inspire. They achieved this through local gatherings, exclusive events, and member-hosted ‘Firesides’ that allowed enthusiasts from all corners to share their love for timepieces.

Le Carage and Le Club are not ordinary establishments. They cater to every need that a car aficionado may have, from storage to service. The first significant event hosted by THC Europe took place in Le Carage and Le Club, lighting the pilot flame for an exciting new partnership.

The collaboration is not limited to just shared events. In fact, the founders of THC Europe have donated a stunning Jaguar XK140 to Le Carage for its members’ use. In return, THC Europe is granted a dedicated space within Le Carage and Le Club to display timepieces and organise events.

One of the favourable outcomes of this collaboration is a unique vibration resonating from the cross-pollination of two communities with a shared love for mechanics. The next major event jointly organised by THC Europe, Le Carage, and Le Club is the ‘Gentlemen’s Drive ‘25’, scheduled for September 13, 2025. The day’s proceedings include an enjoyable drive around the Netherlands, featuring a pit stop at the historic Holthinrichs atelier in Delft.
