Breguet Stuns on its 250th Anniversary with the Release of Type XX Chronographe 2075BH for Aviation Enthusiasts

In celebrating its 250th year, Breguet introduces the Type XX Chronographe 2075BH– a tribute to the brand’s illustrious aviation history.

Breguet, in celebratory spirits for its 250th anniversary, has reawakened the classic Type XX pilot’s watch with the release of the lauded Chronographe 2075BH. Routing through Paris and Shanghai before its final reveal in New York, the 2075BH is more of a love letter to time than just a relaunch. It pays homage, using a hand-wound movement reminiscent of a similar 1955 Type XX watch, now displayed proudly in the Breguet museum.

The 2075BH collection comes in two distinct variations: a black anodized aluminium dial piece, and a limited edition brushed solid silver dial variant, with a limited production of only 250. Both models are encased in Breguet’s signature gold, a proprietary alloy revealed earlier this year that beautifully straddles the line between yellow and rose gold–adding a touch of splendour to the collection.

Breguet’s iconic Type XX collection holds a special place in wristwatch history and the hearts of the brand followers. The brand, dating back to 1953, has produced approximately 2,000 examples of the military-spec Type 20 wristwatch and around 500 civilian Type XXs. The new 2075BH thus showcases the brand’s commitment to honouring its heritage while looking towards the future.
