Reviving its celebrated place in haute horlogerie, iconic French watch house L.Leroy unveils its featured attraction: The Osmior Bal du Temps.

A famed jewel in the world of horology, French watchmaking house L.Leroy established in 1785 by Charles Leroy, is gloriously awakened from years of dormancy. Acquired by entrepreneur Miguel Rodríguez in 2004, the brand is making a resounding comeback with the Osmior Bal du Temps. This elegant timepiece is marking a key moment in horology, signalling a contemporary chapter for the revered maison. L.Leroy is keen to recapture the glory of its past by concentrating on crafting limited, high-complication watches.

The Osmior Bal du Temps is a perfect blend of classic aesthetics with modern mechanics. It portrays a solid commitment to shape the future of haute horology using the same authority, showcasing why L.Leroy was once a pivotal player in the watch industry.

In a tribute to L.Leroy’s historic tact watches, the dial is fully openworked, showcasing the mechanics of the minute repeater and flying tourbillon. Its remarkable watch movement, the hand-wound calibre L601SQ, is composed of 321 components, offering an impressive 90-hour power reserve from a single barrel.

The re-emergence of L.Leroy through the Osmior Bal du Temps echoes the brand’s unswerving resolve for innovation whilst inextricably bonding with its illustrious history. It’s a testament to the maison’s plan to revive its noble watchmaking tradition and bring a new dynamic presence to today’s landscape of luxury timepieces.
