Dubai recently emerged as the focal point of horology, hosting the 10th Dubai Watch Week and celebrating 75 years of the acclaimed retailer, Ahmed Seddiqi. The event was a true assembly of watch industry titans, attracting over 49,000 visitors, a whopping 113% increase from its previous edition in 2023. The show welcomed 90 esteemed brands and executives for a grand showcase of horological excellence.

A highlight of the event was the CEO Roundtable Horology Edition. This candid assembly included industry leaders from Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Chopard, and Hublot. These innovators discussed the industry’s trajectory in the wake of the pandemic boom and subsequent downturn. They emphasized the importance of aligning supply chains with the changing market demands to avoid a “boom and bust” cycle that could alter Switzerland’s specialized expertise in watchmaking.
