Rolex Denver Takes Over New Territory: Iconic 1916 Company Enlarges its Footprint in Prestigious Mall

Published: 22 Sep 2025
Witness the watch world's latest grand move - The 1916 Company's well-positioned Cherry Creek store in Denver is stretching its square footage in an exciting expansion.

In recent years, those who’ve graced The 1916 Company’s Cherry Creek watch and jewelry store have been privy to its dynamic growth. But it’s since the retail merger with ‘Hyde Park Jewelers’ in November 2023 that this expansion has entered a thrilling, accelerated phase. Nestled in Denver’s esteemed Cherry Creek Shopping Center, amongst an ensemble of leading brand-name stores, renowned eateries and world-class entertainment venues, calls this flourishing retail hub its home. Today, the 1916 Company stands as Colorado’s largest standalone watch store, commanding an enviable location at the heart of the state’s most thriving shopping district. Currently, its layout features interconnected Omega, Breitling, and Rolex boutiques to the left of its main entrance, with a dedicated Tudor boutique to the right. Till recently, slotting itself between the Breitling and Rolex boutiques was high-end shoe store, Allen Edmunds, which much enjoyed its captive, luxury-loving audience. However, whilst maintaining its presence in the mall, Allen Edmunds has relocated to a larger store — paving the way for a symphony of mono-brand boutiques run by The 1916 Company. And in this reimagined space, Rolex Denver rises to the occasion, taking over the erstwhile Allen Edmonds location and thereby doubling its retail footprint. This is positive news for Rolex, The 1916 Company, Allen Edmonds, and the broader Cherry Creek Shopping Center. The change represents innovation against the current retail business trends. As the Rolex monobrand boutique undergoes construction, Rolex Denver graciously makes its temporary home within The 1916 Company’s primary multi-brand space, ensuring customer service remains uninterrupted. Leading the wave in this new retail era, The 1916 Company indeed paints a promising picture for luxury timepiece aficionados.
