Swiss Brand Norqain Becomes First Official Luxury Sports Watch Of The NHL: A Perfect Synergy of Sports and Luxury

Published: 13 Nov 2025
This year, the NHL takes a step into luxury with Swiss watch brand Norqain as its first official luxury sports watch.

When the NHL Global Series of international games took center stage this year, it was not just the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Nashville Predators in the spotlight. Two revered timekeepers, Sidney Crosby and Roman Josi, took to the ice, but their shared admiration for the Swiss luxury watchmaker Norqain stole the show. Further strengthening its association with Hockey, Norqain has proudly been announced as the NHL’s first Official Luxury Sports Watch, an impressive feat that substantiates the brand’s deep roots within the Hockey community.

Moreover, the watch brand has grown its hockey ambassadors team by collaborating with NHL All-Stars Sidney Crosby and Roman Josi. The budding relationship doesn’t limit itself to individual players but extends to tournaments. Since 2019, Norqain has been the official timekeeper for the Spengler Cup, a prestigious invitational tournament held annually in Switzerland. Further, in 2020, Norqain partnered with the NHL Players Association to release a limited-edition Adventure Sport Chrono NHLPA timepiece.

Norqain is set to leverage this partnership by releasing a special watch in 2026 to commemorate the partnership. A distinctive Norqain watch will be awarded to the Player of the game, further cementing Norqain’s place at the heart of the NHL community. The brand’s role in Hockey goes beyond timekeeping, leading to promising collaborations and timeless timepieces that resonate with the passion and spirit of Hockey.
