Discover the Artistic Marvel of the Louis Vuitton Escale Minute Repeater and Meet Béatrice Goasglas, TAG Heuer’s New CEO

Take a closer look at the intricate dial of Louis Vuitton's Escale Minute Repeater and meet Béatrice Goasglas, the newly appointed head of TAG Heuer.

Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton’s Escale Minute Repeater mesmerised watch enthusiasts. Part of a stunning collection launched in January, the Escale Minute Repeater has caused quite a stir with its breathtakingly intricate design. It has managed to enthral, even amidst the buzz about the collaboration with De Bethune. The new updates on the Escale collection included not only the time-only dress-watch but also the Escale Worldtime Flying Tourbillon and Escale Twin Zone. The stunning grey flammé guilloché dial of Escale Minute Repeater—hand-turned on an antique rose engine lathe— is a highlight, reflecting light from every angle. The minutes track sits at the dial periphery, with a printed railroad track marking minutes and hours. At 6 o’clock, there’s a jump hour indication, sharply contrasted against the gorgeous guilloché patterning. With the 40mm diameter rose gold case and a height of 12.3mm, the Escale Minute Repeater is an enchanting blend of sophistication, proportions, and creativity.

While Louis Vuitton excels in creative watch design, TAG Heuer is gearing up to further its brand legacy with a strategic change in leadership. Recently, Béatrice Goasglas was named Chief Executive Officer of TAG Heuer, effective from May 1. Known for her leadership of TAG Heuer’s Americas division in Miami, Goasglas’ appointment comes amid a series of executive changes within the Swiss watchmaking company. Indeed, Goasglas’ appointment is a pivotal moment for the Geneva-based brand and its parent company, LVMH, as they aim to carve a new path in the horology landscape.
